On the first call with you or your committee, I would like to discuss who the guests or clients will be at your event, the ratio of men to women, their ages, where they are from, how many, where the event is being held, and what your vision is for a successful show, party, reception, etc. Next, I will provide you with a list of artists and ideas based on that initial conversation. This list will help you narrow down and clarify who might be available and what they would probably cost. This all can be done relatively quickly, within 24-48 hours. Although it is important for you to choose your top three or so selections carefully, it is equally important that you or your group be able to act as quickly as possible to this list as all it takes for an artist to become unavailable is an offer from another interested party.
Once you and the artist have come to terms, a contract is issued and a deposit is due. I will review that contract in detail with you and help you make any changes that seem reasonable and appropriate. After the artists has reviewed and hopefully agreed to your changes (if any), you will receive an artist-signed contract back for your files. |
