The Jersey County Business Association and the Committee of the 5th Annual State Street Music Festival want to thank everyone in the community who supported the June 21, 2008 festival held on the Jerseyville Banking Center Parking Lot.

Under a beautiful blue sky (and a tent just in case) music played non-stop from 1:00 in the afternoon until 11:00 in the evening.  Music was provided by the Scapegoat (sponsored by CJ Schlosser &Co), Golden Oldies Band (sponsored by Debs Booking), Whisperwall (sponsored by GTEC), Spellbound (sponsored by Tri County Bowl and Back In The Saddle (sponsored by Loellke Plumbing, Inc.)

This was a gathering that allowed our community to come together through the power of music. All the bands were at their best, and the food and beverage were top notch! The food was provided by Lake Westside and the beverage service provided by
Robert "Chick" Fritz Distributing.

The children enjoyed games and music provided by the Jersey Community High School Concert Choir. GTEC provided a bounce house, face painting, popcorn and other goodies for the kids.

The JCBA would like to thank our sponsors, volunteers, the bands and the great residents of Jersey County for a very successful 2008 festival.

To show our appreciation to the wonderful men and women of the Illinois National Guard who were on hand to provide assistance with the flood waters, they were given free entry into the festival.
