The Bellinia Band, featuring soul singer Bellinia and bandleader Vic Herold, came together in Chicago in 1992. With her band, Bellinia entertained audiences at the 1997 National Democratic Convention in Chicago, Chicago Bulls pre-game shows, and US Air Force troops stationed in Korea and Hawaii. Together, they have toured venues throughout the US and Canada and currently perform aboard international cruise ships and in hotels and casinos worldwide.
Bellinia is a powerhouse of soul, throwing in enough of dashes of rock and blues to create a sound not too extreme to be called pop. Her style reminds fans of Tina Turner, and the artist dedicates a tribute to Tina Turner during selective venues. Her expressive voice ranges from growling, passionate phrases to lyrical and tender. She sings with casual assurance, gauging the emotion of her audience. Bellinia has shared her stage with many entertainers such as Steve Miller, The Supremes, Buddy Miles, and Ike Turner.
